I noticed the Sata cable on my hard drive kept falling out but now my hard drive is being detected in bios(shows up in list of devices to boot from) but says it’s not a bootable drive.

I suspect I need to swap out the interface connector and I notice there’s a silver pin on either side of the connector. However when I YouTube this I see people with soldering irons out

if its showing up in your bios your connector isnt bad, did you try loading the boot menu instead of bios and try running it that way?

anything else you've tried and failed?

resetting bios settings may help

^ as shaft is suggesting [I think] try connecting only that one drive if you have other drives connected
