My rear tire is making a funny noise, sounds like a tin can is dragging behind or some metal is being dragged behind the car. Happens when I'm driving straight. Anyone know what could cause this noise?

Thanks

dust shield on brake maybe?
warped rotor
flat tire?
check exhaust piping, is anything loose?

could be alot of things. just have a buddy stand behind and look under the car, while you creep forward. if its nothing visible, problem could be in the wheel well/suspension/brake component area.

Likely a bad wheel bearing, rock stuck in backing plate, or worn brakes.

Ty

I think the stuck rock is what it was. I looked everywhere around the wheel and didn't see anything but I drove to store and something fell out

All good for now. Sounded like metal fell but idk I didn't stop to look at what fell out. Just cross my fingers and hope it doesn't happen again cuz too poor to buy new car

Ty for the replies
