It’ll be hyped the first season so it’ll have lots of players.
2nd season ppl will realize its just d2 with better graphics and they still have families to attend to. Bc most of them are 30+ or boomers.
Season 3 be as dead as current ladder

Not just better graphics

- no more unperm items
- no more bugged items
- hopefully they ban bots faster (doubt it)

There will be cross server right so the duelling scene will be huge. Yeah a bit laggy. But low level duel scene will be big

Yeah a portion of my portfolio is value

though, it is really painful to watch these days as the climbs are so slow and the falls so fast

I hate the term "value investor". Either you are trying to buy good businesses at cheap prices or you are getting ripped off.

That's a pretty silly statement. There's plenty of ways to invest that aren't stocks, and even within stocks theres plenty of profitable strategies that aren't buy and hold even with stocks. Just depends on the market conditions.

Whether you're buying a "value" stock or a "growth" stock, the process is pretty much the same. Are you getting a good price on a business, considering their cash flow, growth prospects, balance sheet, and other factors, or are you not?

Selling is the inverse of that process. "I bought because I was getting an attractive price, but now I'm getting a great price to sell."

There are other ways of making money in the market, but I am talking specifically about stock investing. That said, most day / swing traders lose money, and the best technical analysts are going to get taken for a ride by trading algorithms developed by quants paid six and seven figure salaries.

Investors think of value and growth investment strategies differently because the valuation methods are so different. Growth stocks are far more sensitive to discount factors

Everyone putting significant portions of their net worth into (individual) stocks should be using DCF models
