I am worried about reducing of D2 (original game) players.

I think it is bad manner to split one game and LURE AWAY players. We are the one community.

There is no reason to stay at the old d2lod !

I had some hope that maybe in a few years when the hype dies down they ll introduce a transfer function for $ to get ur old d2 chars to d2r but seeing the price of cloning a single wow char from classic to tbc is $35... even if they do it, it will be some mad overpriced shit like that 😂

I will go to D2R, because of the graphics.
The game / content is the same, but it looks so much better!

If they change the content too far away from LOD-classic, which will touch the LOD-experience to much (worst case is, if they do it like D3), then I will come back to the original from time to time, but only Single-Player PlugY. Classic Bnet I am already done... broken mule-system, bots, etc.

If they implement new content to a third game-mode or a third "modern-ladder", then there is no reason to come back to the Original. Hopefully I can play LOD-content with new graphics all the time in a "LOD-classic" game-mode.

no point play d2 normal after d2r, better grafic, better server and others...

Original d2 was practically dead already, besides maybe a bump in players cause of the d2r announcement I'm not sure I haven't logged in since then.

pretty sure purist will stick to original cause of autogold pickup that will ruin pvp

You can toggle auto gold pickup off and on
