Just started some btc mining there, my friend tells me he has 10% fee whatever the exchange he does (he actually trade btc vs eth)

anyone else confirms ? wtf 10% ..

Some mininga are worth more than others cos utility bills and % yeah.
Thor knows more about this, he tried mining some until he found the most profitable solution

Nicehash kinda sucks. I use cudominer for eth. Doesnt brick my comp while it runs and I can keep it on while I game with no performance issues.

Yeah the sound is horrible and the heat is really not needed here with summer coming. Anyways I just have a geforce 1060 with 6gb ram, don't think I could do much even on the best mining site

You might make a dollar a day after electricity. Hardly worth it imo

My uncle owns a wind turbine on his farm (80,000$)
He bought 10x antminer s19 rigs (8,000$ each) which yeild him roughly 500$/day without paying a single cent for electricity. It also powers the electricity in his house

It took him ~10 months to pay it off and now he passively makes roughly 200k/yr

That's insane lol. I told my friend to invest into those mining boxes but he hardly listen anything, he prefer to invest into gold

There's no way that a $80k wind turbine power 10x s19's unless hes the one manufacturing the wind turbine and I'm still skeptical. The math doesn't work either you sauced the post or your uncle clearly have no idea wtf hes doing. These math doesnt work assuming there is optimal wind and perfect condition 24/7/365. Anyone educated in energy know that perfect weather isnt a thing. There is still rolling blackout in cali becuz green energy

i don’t care to be 100% accurate on my math lol. Idk the exact cost of his turbine just gave a rough estimate of the cost of one. He has 3 on bis farm but one is for powering his house/mining rigs

Its not something i’m interested in. Just told me his setup and that He makes 20k a month (on average) mining btc and doesn’t pay for electricity
