No. A decent game has 'invisible' slots for GMs and the like. They join a game, and ask a question. No answer? Account banned, Key banned, IP banned, & all accounts that ever logged from the same Ip are verified, if they are mules they get banned as well. It's a trivial job.
And that's a solution from DECADES ago.
Today online games have so many analysis tools to watch their players that the only reason botting every happens is when the money stops flowing in and the companies just shut down the anti-cheaters team.
Decades ago ip addresses werent shared with multiple households. It simply doesnt work like that anymore.
And if they have so many tools why are there bots in wow and ffxiv?
