Technology works both ways it's always possible to hide the bot from process scans so the only way to catch bots is automated flagging based on behavior. Botters are excellent at learning and avoiding behavioral flags and the more strict blizzard is the more people they need to manually check for false positives.

Bots win because the amount of money blizzard would have to spend to prevent bots getting an roi before they get banned isn't an amount they're willing to spend.

dec 2017 season, when the garbage man got first 99 useast hc. Bots weren't around for 3 or 4 months, best season in d2 history.

should take a screen shot of my gold log, got around 450 for shako a month after reset, and SC was around same prices.

/edit: Everyone check your gold logs for dec 2017, you'll know if you a good player if you in + or - for that month.

I spend all my fg on WoW tokens, so im always poor, but that was like a 22k month.

one thing i was thinking about is what is the actual purpose of a bot. and its to farm items

they could monitor input speed.

if a player gets flagged for clicking items at a certain speed consistantly then it would get banned

if the bot has to lower its pickit speed to not get banned.. then humans could in theory steal drops from bots and render them obsolete (at least in public)

if people want to bot 1 player private games.. at least we wouldnt have to look at them
