Woah, bit surprised about Woodward and Agnelli resigning

Agnelli hasn’t yet. Woodward stays in charge for the remainder of the year/season.

Looks like City and Chelsea out too.

Loving how this bullshit is falling apart.

Also, it was no coincidence Florentino anounced this the week after he was officially re-elected (thanks to the autocratic procedures he set, so that nobody could register a contest in time), so that the fans wouldn't push to get him out.

Now that he has another 4 year period secure, he can take this blow.

What a disgusting project this is, I'll be so happy if this indeed fails.

looks like it's going up in flames already. good. still glad that the german 'candidates' (bayern and dortmund) rejected participation in the first place.

Also smart to try to launch this "project" before the lockdown era is over and the club officials would get booed out of the stadiums by their own home fans.

Yes, me too. I still think, however, that both would have joined eventually if the ESL had really happened.

ESL has shown there could be a lot more money in football than there currently is, because of corrupt organisations like UEFA and FIFA
