I feel like Ayton hasn’t lived up to expectations but maybe that’s just cuz Luka and Trae have just been so much better, he’s definitely still been solid

He hasnt lived up to a first pick in a deep draft class yeah, but he is still 22(and started playing at a later age), however he is already an elite defender(rim protector) for center position, and is still developing his offensive game. I think in a couple of years he will be alongside the elite centers of the league..

You think he’ll be alongside dudes like Embiid and Jokic? Not a chance my guy, he does not have that kind of career trajectory

I see him as a 20/10 guy with solid rim protection, prolly a full tier below the elite guys

yes, he already is a 20/10 guy(not for the whole season, but its been like that for the past 1-2 months), but with CP3 and Booker the ball simply doesnt go to his hands that often, since that is not necessary, yet. His usage rate is much lower compared to other big name centers, however his efficiency is quite high(I wont even dwell into his defense, because he is already a game changer in that area).
