in hell trav you only need to kill 1 of the member to get the flail. I'd say the only obstacle is de seis always immune to cold, but you don't really need to go into a4-a5

Technically yes but merc will be weak on week 1

Hybrid will let you clear all content which can be useful for first ladder character

Cold can do specific content more efficiently like meph and andarial but I would question if that would be worthwhile with realm down being easier to reach. Since lightning is the eventual goal for most ladder mf sorc you would expect correct build to be the one that reaches infinity most efficient

I believe hybrid will beat cold for that.

Light Sorc for final build.

You can go orb/fb for dual element but I prefer optimum dmg.

seis will cast decrepify on merc and you rarely have a strong weapon for merc at the start, you can static and telek stun him but sometimes merc can't even finish him. I guess you could make a malice runeword and kill with open wounds

Yeah it has a high dmg output. But if you want true killing power from a A2 merc you need crushing blow.
