Are they? The Catholic church has proven that you can beat A LOT of things out of children. If kids aren't exposed to nonsense, they won't engage in unsavory behavior even if they are predisposed to it. There's no doubt in my mind that there's some sort of physiological and hormonal imbalance in trans people.
Having said all that, it's sad that we're spending so much effort legislating the lives of trans people. What's next, legislating that autistic people can't wipe their ass on a Tuesday? There are so few trans people that we shouldn't even think about them.
