Hello,

I started playing /players 8. 1.14 with ladder runewords enabled.

I don't have much experience as a barb and never done a walkthrough with one. Right now im lvl 31 in normal A4 as frenzy.

Essentially I am trying to plan out how to upgrade my characters gear to prepare for progression.

Other than farming meph 1000 times I am not really sure what to look for in weapon / gear upgrades.

I was thinking maybe trying to craft blood everything and whether or not safety gear would be a worthy craft as well.

Basically I am looking for some direction on whether it would be more beneficial to craft gear or just keep working on MF'ing bosses and or gambling.

Farm nm andy for 2 butchers, you're set to finish the game.
Craft CB gloves and OW belt (untill you find soe). Get black in a flail asap, use strength untill that point for maximum CB

I am really looking for what I should do right now to prepare for nm, but I pushed into Act 5 and I guess I will just look for bases and make dual Strength then push into nm.

I wouldn’t bother farming anything in normal except pindle for a potential rare weapon to upgrade to exceptional.
You want 1 strength to help with boss killing and then just whatever does decent damage in the other hand..

For frenzy barb on p8 the kill speed is painful until you get far enough into nm that elite bases such as tomahawk or tyrant clubs can drop and make either a strength or black in one of those depending on how many sockets you get.

Otherwise If you can stomach the slow kill speed of nm andy right off the bat she drops some pretty solid weapon upgrades to help with nm progression. Butchers is also a pretty common drop from her

Ultimately you just have to be patient late normal and early to mid nm. The patience is well worth it once butchers or headstriker drops

normal is winable without farming anything.IIRC i played mine with 2x Malice in flail, some just play 3x Ral flail
Then andy NM run for Butcher pupil's
/e i just looked at my wt, I went for some cow and nm coutess and i had malice + black jagged star to down andy

You can get pretty far with black+strength in flail

I don’t think I really struggled until nm chaos then I farmed until butchers

I ended up just pushing to nm Andy. Using strength in a war sword and found a white flamberge in wsk2 and socket Q'd it to make honor.

Just been farming Andy and Countess, got 2x spirit swords for switch trying to get a Lum for Smoke. Got the runes for Black just need a base for it.

I spent last night reading like 5 different frenzy walkthroughs lol. I see you watch LiiMule!
