Preseasons fun n all but usually buncha guys who r getting cut r playin. Whats the point? Rather have a meaningful game

I like the preseason roster battles. It's cool to see and chat about who will be the final guys to crack the 53 man roster. It's pretty much the only glimpse most fans get of what is reported to be happening in training camp. So I guess in a sense it's similar to being a draftnik who likes to see and guess which players will develop and which will not.
