Proposing a small user profile improvement. Sorry if it has already been done.

Currently, whether you are friends or not, the button for add friend exists in user profiles.
It doesn't happen often, but sometimes I will hit the add friend button and realize I already have them there.

I understand I could cross reference my friends list, or remember every person I encounter, but I think it would be simple enough to either remove that button if you're friends with a user,
or get fancy with it and remove the link and have Friends with a check mark under their ava when you view their profile.

Not absolutely necessary, but would be a nice to have feature in my opinion.

I like the idea. I think probably to just have the button removed once added on your friends list would bd the most viable and easiest to implement.

i can't count the number of times i went to someone's profile and asked myself if we were friends yet lol

I think it could lead to performance issues with the site. Regardless if you are someones friend or not when you view that users profile nothing changes. I feel if something like this was to be implemented a variety of changes would have to continue to take place across the site. IE Top Trades, Top Donors, Etc Etc Etc that would link you and other users on the site. Several things alongside the site having Live Streams makes it so I cannot rule this suggestion with the progress of with the rest of the sexy stuff I mentioned out.

I consider it a good idea. I also recently that I wanted to add someone I already have in my friends.
