Depends on what your role is in the group really.
Zeal / Conviction paladin supports all elemental damage characters in group and increases run speed drastically.
Freezing Arrow (strafe or MS) amazon to freeze packs helping group not die if mass rushed.
Enchant / Blizz / Bow sorc (if you find Raven Claw bow for exploding arrows) ... you can use Glacial spike for survival, Blizz for packs, Exploding arrow vs cold immunes, Enchant increasing group and mercs damage + attack rating ... also... if there is a Zeal / Conviction paladin in the group, the Enchant will help him and the rest of the group immensely.
There is the old Blizz / Fire Wall build if you want.
Zeal / holy shock paladin... goes well with zeal / conviction paladin.
Barbs are the basic group build... you can try the Berserk barb that uses howl and only kills Unique monsters mostly while it supports the group with BO.
There are a few things to take into consideration... You may make a pure MF horcker barb that does not kill, but horcks bodies for drops and howls the dregs away.
