So, AMD 5600x is available for purchase on Amazon now.
I bought it, but it's shipping in mid April..

Question is, what RAM speed do I buy?
Thinking of getting 2 sticks of 8gb each.
I think I heard somewhere to get 3600mhz with 16 latency, that's the current best price per performance?

3600MHz at C16 is the common RAM for the AMD Ryzen 5000 processors if you plan on taking advantage of the Infinity Cache. However, don't go out and buy a random one based on that search string. Look for it via the RAM compatibility list provided by the motherboard manufacturer.

It can be cheap, but others can be cheaper, if they're at C18 or so. Again, search based on the list provided by the motherboard manufacturer.

ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (WiFi 6) - $200

After comparing the two motherboards you selected, I hope you're aware that the TUF is a micro-ATX while the ROG is a regular sized ATX. I don't think one is better than the other. At this point it comes down to which case you want to house these motherboard.

Personally speaking, I like the front USB header options on the TUF than the ROG. It's more current. However, I'm not a fan of the micro-ATX form factor.

TUF has a atx size option
What front USB header options does TUF have that ROG doesn't have?
