MCS has a point tho,

Blizzard is known to mess up hard even the simplest menial tasks like remastering Warcraft or doing a copy pasted dota game (Heroes of the storm)

It’s not impossible for them to screw up diablo 2 resurrected with a couple of facepalm decisions, then diablo 2 Classic will live on

In that same Vein Starcraft Remaster was a massive success. So it could go either way. But i'm more comfortable going with them not fucking this one up, because the company that botched the warcraft remastered was dismantled after that fiasco. It's not even the same company anymore doing this remake for D2.

It's not like they're going to put it up for a vote. If the community is split on it (which it will be) they will leave it alone. From interviews I've seen is they will only consider changing things if the vast majority of the community wants it.

Also, I don't agree that the D3 community will want Enigma removed. D3 is easy as shit and that's what's boring about it IMO. Removing Enigma or changing it makes the game slightly more challenging

no pvp and trading was what killed d3 for me.
