So if you’re like me, you have trade threads up or in my case, a service.
I click edit then click submit to refresh my topic every 2-3 days sometimes every day so I can edit it to change prices or a picture.

But like now, I can’t edit it because I let it go over the three day mark and I’ll have to wait a while to be allowed to repost it per the rules.

Would it be possible to allow a verified user as a perk to get unlimited edits on their topic post?

I see if being useful in a lot of cases.

Let me know your thoughts about it.

Pros and cons

Pros:
I don’t have to worry about refreshing my topic every 1-3 days
I can make my topic up to date
Less topics being made over the same service or trade thread

Cons:
I’m not seeing them right now but maybe someone else could give insight

Personally, ithink the idea is good, because keep forgetting to edit the topics regularly so that the edit does not expire.

Yes. This would be great, really for all members. But verified members could be a start/incentive. Would make it easier to update threads with the latest, most current info.

I too would like to know the potential cons/drawbacks of having such a system in place, if there are any. Especially if this can already be done by just continually ‘refreshing’ the edit timer (which I never realized). Maybe to prevent edit abuse? If that is a concern I like how your suggestion narrows it down to your own threads.

Voting yes on this as long as it is limited to the trading grounds/donor forum.

I've been verified since that update came out (well, when I wasn't away on FMLA) and I'm always down for more perks/benefits to make it even more worthwhile.

Usually trades are not going on for weeks, those are the rare cases.
most of the trades ends up between a day and 3 days.


I don't see any benefit of this, voting no.
