What utter crap. I'm returning it tomorrow after using it for a week. Takes shit pictures, it's buggy, has a dumb UI, blah. In probably going to get a Samsung.

The last time I had a Google phone it was the Nexus 5 and damn I miss that phone. Google makes trash nowadays.

That's for the report, I'm using a pixel 3a. I'll look for something else when it's time to upgrade

It was a really short and crappy review but long story short I have not been happy with this phone at all. It's cool that it has 5G but that's about it. Stock Android without all the fluff really isn't that great. It'd be a good phone if you could root it but I like taking pictures and this camera is so wonky. It'll do weird things like the color will jump around different colors or it'll start pixelating randomly in the middle of a picture all kinds of other terrible things. I'm just a point and snap kind of camera shooter I don't know anything about shutter and focusing and all that but with my Samsung I used to take decent pictures.

Sounds like a hardware issue.

Probably a bad motherboard but the UI and the way they did things made me scratch my head.

I returned it and bought a Samsung S21+. So far I love the thing! (as I knew I would.) It's like my S9+ only better in every way.

Pixel 4a 5G and S9+ vs the new S21+.

S21 likes:

No more crap bixby key. (you can choose how it works now completely.)
Better battery life.
Better cameras.
Better screen.
Way faster charging.
Better fingerprint reader.
I like Samsung's UI vs. stock android.
Bigger screen vs the other two.
Good construction.

These new phones no longer come with the power brick which is hella annoying but I heard it accepts the 45W chargers so that's neato.
I thought the Pixel's 18W was nice. lol

Over I highly recommend the S21+ if you can afford it. It's a damn nice phone.

Too bad they only had purple. :lol:
