The issue is when you're white, nobody is doing anything to you because you are white. Nobody is targeting white people, nobody is pulled over for being white in a black neighborhood, etc. etc.

So when you say "I'm proud to be white", it's like "okay, proud of what?"

Contrast this with gay pride. We're less than 10 years into gay marriage being legalized, and less than 50 away from gay people being social outcasts because of the aids epidemic. Gay people have had to overcome a lot just to be able to tell people they are gay. So "gay pride" has something behind it.

Saying "I'm proud to be white" is like saying "I'm proud my parents were rich". Like..... okay?

I really disdain the BLM organization. It is a horrible, destructive organization.

However, that doesn't mean I need to be "proud to be white"

The very root of that way of thinking is racist because why should it matter what color your skin is?

Yeah but like why should that matter to me? Idc if you are proud to be gay or proud to be black or proud to be white. The reason you are proud doesn’t mean shit to me, I just like the thought of everyone being able to say it. All or none in my eyes.
