As mentioned earlier, check out Amnesia the dark descent, or anything by Frictional games.

Also if you're in to Emulation at all, if you can get a PS2 emulator the Silent hill 2/3 games are worth checking out especially.

If you want something multiplayer try Dead by daylight. not strictly a horror game but its fun if you have friends to play with or if you like to be the killer
