I'm a bit late for D2R, but my new machine should arrive soon.
That means i'll soon order the game, and hopefully i'll be able to support your thread (if i manage to trick the US forums successfully).

Just installed game and created classic character to check if shared stash was added, its not, what a typical neobliztard fail.

Damn I just tried D2R and found that they included that stupid small stash that is such a bane.
I even spent an hour trying to get back access to my D2JSP account just to come here and entice people to post about it on D2R forum, which has already been done apparently.
If you want to spend some more posts, I created a post on the EU forum. It seems I can't post in the US topic unfortunately.

It seems i managed to trick those dumb forums, so i was finally able to reply to Kieran's thread =]
Not sure if that's what mattered, but i selected "United States" as the location during the creation of a new blizz account (and i think it can be changed on already existing accounts).
After that, everytime i accessed the forums, i just made sure the address was us.forums.blizzard.com, and corrected it otherwise.

BTW, it appears the old thread got converted at some point, so there are 3 copies now:
