What do they mean when d2 resurrected has mod support?

that doesent sound good, but im sure its like ui related stuff?

Sounds like how WoW can have add ons for raiding. Maybe they will support add ons to say, change high runes a darker color so they're easier to notice?

I feel like map hack would be extremely easy to add as a mod though.

I think it just means they'll be making the game data more accessible. A lot of it was stuck in those MPQ files before, and modders had to do a bit of work to access it.

It means that modders would still be able to do their own things.
Like Pod, PD2, MedianXL etc...
That s also a good thing for all the randoms and casuals here that are crying every 5mn for new runewords, fixing "pvp bugs" etc...
They will be able to have that on mods and play between them.

I have to disagree with previous posts.

I think (and hope) with mod support they mean active moderators/game masters that will prevent botting, duping and such.
