Hi guys which do you think is the best build to conquer Hell baal solo and what type of strategy would you take for it?
Of course this means that there will be not access in super high end items.
for me is Zeal paladin at least until the middle of nightmare,possible in the meantime some MF in certain areas and bosses like Andy/Mephisto/Countess
and i would respec in Hell into Hammerdin trying to have at least 1 spirit sword/shield and 1 insight for act2 merc.

Can do it with shopped javs, javazon, poke, poke with CS.

Any character can beat hell baal solo. If you have the correct gear. If you're playing solo and self found then that's another story. A summon necro would be the one I would choose that could do it with the least expensive gear.

This is pretty obvious my friend,the point of the post was for each one to explain the strategy he/she would follow while they proceed through the game.
In normal circumstances and i mean without bots/dupes etc it is very hard for players to acquire high end gear,so for me when someone is saying ''i would do it with a summoner'' or like our friend above
with a ''MF sorc'' doesn't actually mean anything,there are a lot of factors that we have to consider while playing without the potential to get perfect gear.
D2 can get really hard when played purely so this post is for sharing some builds/ideas/strategies in order to go to Baal hell and kill him.

any main caster class can beat it with something like that:

spirit sword
ancients pledge / spirit shield / ryme / splendor / sanctuary
lore
stealth / smoke / lionheart / stone / all the +2 class skills runeword armors
caster craft belt, boots, gloves, amulet, rings

for merc:
insight
blood craft helm, armor, treachery

all pretty cheap and easy to get the most of them in nightmare

would say hammerdin is the easiest and dual ele sorc the fastest
but also easy with pnb necro, summon necro, ele druid, trap assa, etc.

Sorc, Hammerdin, Java

Blizz/fb sorc, with act2 merc ( tal mask, duress, insight)
Full tal sorc with spirit 2x bk or sojs magefist
