Had a computery question and didn't really know where else to post but good old d2jsp.

I've been trying to think of a new hobby, and one thing that was always a pipe dream hobby was making VR levels.
making sounds for each step on different terrains, animations for grass spreading around you, adding the sounds to the leaves brushing against whatever fabric you're wearing.

Trouble is, I wouldn't have a clue what to start learning. Would anyone be able to vaguely point me in the right direction?
