If you would like to leave a new or similar opinion on the good and bad of this site suggestion being implemented I am happy to hear it. If you have facts about how the site could work if this suggestion was implemented please share it. Even if this site suggestion is not something that gets implemented on our site at this time or ever maybe discussing it will help I or others in the community understand why. Doing this could be good for our Community of users who are interested in bettering our site features or opening it up to something new.

Reason being, people who care about answering pm's in a timely manner have desktop notifications enabled already, adding a type of priority tag will have no bearing on how quickly someone responds to it or even sees it
you would get the same effect by putting "URGENT" in your subject line or in the text of the message itself

This just seems like a fruitless update that doesn't hold much water in terms of actual usefulness

Not everyone is able to be at the computer 24/7, and sometimes some of us can play on some days and work on others. That doesn't mean one does not care about getting back to someone in a timely manner, but means one has less time to take care of more timely and important things when able to be here.

Thus why I did not feel this site suggestion was fruitless, but rather improving the quality of people's options that enjoy the site when they have time for the site.

In addition to that I feel users get pms from staff in what seemed to be "urgent and responsive" nature but it is often titled as per subject. I could see Staff using this to get in contact with individuals without having to blow up the PM Title of a violation in someones inbox, and more.

Maybe it would also give Staff another reason to rep the Verification Tag, because their job is possible easier and safer on people, that is if this was enable for such accounts.
