Why not? I think having users being able to better manager or access notifications is important.

When I log onto d2jsp.org I have to hit refresh or get notifications per page clicked until they are done informing me. I am not logging into d2jsp.org to be at the mercy off all these notifications that have been triggered by other users. If one could categorize notifications they could log onto d2jsp.org and have a little more control of what they deal with on d2jsp.org, how, when, and why. This could go for a better overall experience for d2jsp.org user.

I had to sift through a few pages of Notifications due to Diablo 2 Resurrected Sub-Forum frenzy. It took me a bit of time. I might have to untrack topics I create and more.

Furthermore, you can already adjust which notifications are coming in when you edit your tracked forums/topics.

If you have an abundance of notifications to the point where you need to filter them out to find ** time sensitive/important ** notifications then maybe you should reduce the amount of notifications you get from other means.



In my opinion, less is more, and in this case I don't really think being able to filter notifications is necessary lol
