They are close, but Rodgers and the core was still young. This likely being the last chance before the window closes with the heir apparent on the bench makes it worse.

I think Rodgers leaves elsewhere. Packers haven’t showed they’re willing to draft holes. I mean they wasted a 1st rd pick on a QB during Rodgers prime years. How stupid can they be?

37 is prime still? Pretty sure all but a few fans wrote him off after last season. It lit a fire underneath him. I'm not justifying the pick, but come on dude. Years of watching the Bears fuck up has warped your mind.
