experts predict bitcoin to overtake the gold standard and rise to levels unheard of, when? prob not anytime in the near future, but it's inevitable with how society progresses

No lol, gold has a constant static value and will always hold that value to an extent. bitcoin is just another gamble. It can crash in rise in a very short time. I had some back in 2012 when it was about $45.

My brother bought $800 worth of bitcoin back when they were between .08 and .10 each. He bought 2 ounces of weed. 350 million dollar bags of weed tbh.

Worst part is he had like $25 worth of coins left in the wallet after the transaction and sadly he has since passed away. Can never recover

Maybe it's a fake story and he's waiting for prices to go up before he sells 👀

He bought them over 10 years ago so he only invested like a few hundred bucks

Bitcoin doesn't have customer service? ffs

You'd think someone with $200 million dollars invested would get better service.

his bitcoin are stored on an offline wallet (more like a usb-stick), and he forgot the password to encrypt his wallet
therefore no, there is no customer service for his personal encrypted usb stick

Who runs the offline wallet? When you make a transaction, who processes it?

Check out some YouTube videos if you're curious. It's not too complicated, but it's probably more than anyone anyone here wants to try and break down over text.

As we the consumer have being getting FUCKED by middlemen forever, it's a brilliant idea. I believe fully that it has the staying power to last, how high it goes is the only question. I feel like it has to plateau eventually lol.
