I am trying to find a Diablo 2 1.06 server and if not potentially someone to help build it. also looking for the those wanting to play it as well.

There is a 1.09 server but as far as i know last 1.06 server existed around 2004 or so... It wasnt very popular had like 50 players on a general basis. Wasnt very marketed either but classic is a scarce customer base...

Oh and i would def play it alongside many of my friends..

The only way to do it is to host v1.09 and then modify it to behave like v1.06.

This is because the GS software doesn't exist for anything pre 1.09.

just join diablo 09 and play classic, you can get rare drops from older patches. closest you'll find i think.

Nobody wants to play 1.06, that's coming from a guy that plays 1.05

Pre lod is unbalanced fucked up and pure shit for playing, I only do it because I have a mental disorder. 1.09 is the way to go.
If you really love 1.06 you would play single player
