For me, it’s the Simpsons. Seasons 1-7 or 8 are pure genius. So much depth to the episodes, character, watching it once you get older is like a good watching it for the first time.

It's a show I loved, but it doesn't hold up for me at all..

I don't think I have a favorite, since there have been times when certain shows have been so superior to anything else, that they absolutely were the best, and then they fell off. I loved Simpsons, I still enjoy it, but honestly don't recall the last time I even chuckled watching an episode. South Park was amazing as well, it had some gold seasons and has bounced back and forth in recent years. Then more fucked-up amazing shows that were only possible because of the boundries pushed by Simpsons & SP like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Bros and now Rick and Morty are all too damn good and different to pick from.

Most influential is Simpsons hands down for sure, most controversial while still being funny (major shows anyway) is South Park, but as the genre has evolved so much in the 25 years I've been watching (think I was 5 when I saw my first Simpsons), I cant possibly say one is the best of all time.

Has to be a tie between The Last Airbender and Batman TAS. Both are masterpieces.

King of the Hill is the best hands down.

Simpsons is good, American Dad is quite good.

of all time and you guys only list stuff from your lifetime
walt disney cartoons like mickey mouse and donald duck are probably the most well known cartoons
tom and jerry is also a hot contender and my personal favorite with a humor that transcends time, language, upbringing and what not
of course simpsons, spongebob, southpark are good but some of the old nickelodeon classics like cow and chicken, catdog or ren and stimpy cant be left out of this conversation
drawn together and american dad are also pretty good

South Park
Justice League 2001
Batman the animated series
Spider-man 1994
The X-Men 1992

I stopped watching the Simpsons after season 21, but I can't deny that it's one of the greats. My online name is from there. I've had it since I was 12 years old.
