Lot's of side events and jumping puzzles and mounts that actually serve a function in the game from gliding, to jumping really high, to teleporting and blowing away walls that hide loot.
Not to mention they are working on the third expansion officially and have finally announced that we will be going into the old favorite land of the game, Cantha.
Everyone is hoping that we will be able to play as the Tengu as well, but no mention of that as of yet officially.
Honestly, it's a casual game unless you want to partake in the end game content like raids / fractals and or you can choose to focus on WvW which is supposed to be revamped sometime in the future as well.
However, the PvP is absolute garbage in the game. It has 2 official modes, essentially capture and hold an area and the occasional 2v2. Then the actual tournament which is the same mode but more cut throat 3 - 4 matches usually with guaranteed loot.
Personally, I'm waiting for Lost Ark which was officially picked up by Amazon Games, (yes that Amazon) and will be published in 2021.
You can even fully customize your own island. Tons of content on land and at sea in ships and exploring the world.
