Hi, doing this the first time and reading the guidelines I wasnt really sure how to check if this idea has already been brought up.
However, I thought to give it a try anyway:
Problem description:During my past experience with d2jsp trades, I always had transactions receiving from other user which I couldn't recall anymore, what I have traded there.
I called this transactions
"Mr. Secret" in the attached picture.
I found it especially useful to follow up on my gold-log history to see how much I have sold or bought an item for in order to resell or rebuy it again or simply for market value benchmarking. And I really found myself to do this frequently.
I personally always write specific info in the "comment section" when doing a transaction, but you cannot control what other users might add in the "comment section".
Solutions description:So in order to increase transparency for own personal reasons, I suggest to add another row in the Gold-log view. This section could be defined as "Personal Note", which allows you to freely modify comments for your own purpose and to save the comments by pressing a button.
The max. amount of letters of course shall be limited --> here I would suggest to set the the max. allowed letters to the amount which is set for "comment section".
Open Question, which can also be discussed in this topic:
The discussion might be raised concerning scamming accusations or any other violations, where gold logs could help to solve a case (as evidence) for a specific case. For such cases I would suggest, that personal notes do not count as evidence and add this to the site rules somewhere (if even necessary).
