I thought it was fishy that you were able to get a 5899x a 5900x and 3090. When you have to be really lucky to just get one of them. But with the picture you posted I can believe it a little more. Just curious what you need all that power for if your playing casual league.

Unless you’re using it for other purposes. But still. Seems like a lot of usually money wasted in a week

i don't upgrade often but i wanted to make this one big - i plan on playing cyberpunk2077 a lot when it's out (same with diablo 4), overkill as it may be it's just my hobby that i enjoy
i've been on discord on stock servers and the drops become predictable after a few weeks as to when certain site's restocks come back online

i accurately predicted the last 5900x/5950x drop, and chances are it'll happen at the same time again.
as for 5800x acquisition, there was a *gigantic* 5800x drop that happened one night where it wasn't out of stock for at least an hour on newegg, none of the other chips have had nearly as much stock coming through though

i just don't get why i'd lie on a dead forum about what i do and don't have lol

edit: as for the 3090, i got lucky lucky on that, someone posted a walmart link to it on the discord i frequent and i just went for it.

Yeah I was able to snag a new egg 5800x too.

Pretty easy to get 5800x/3090 I was able to get a 5800/3070 in 1 day just sitting in the discord. Newegg had a huge drop for 5900x one day I could of got one but already installed the 5800x didn’t want to uninstall and have to sell it. Doubt I’ll need the extra cores anyway. Had multiple chances at a 3090 but it’s just not worth it. Only way to get a 3080 is micro center. As long as you know where to look 5600/5800 3070/3090 aren’t hard to get will just take a whole day or so to get one. Stock drop discord is probably the best but there’s a couple of them. Join them all and set alerts and make sure to use Apple Pay/ PayPal and you should get em in a couple days.

there's 3090s all the time but getting the evga ones is rare tbh
