Btal is the single most overrated item in the history of this game but I get it you value price over a good character

Its epic on blizz soso, usefull to good on fire soso, shit for everything else.

However the reason why no1 uses sorc for serious duels are because once u abs them(legit ammount) and stack whats needed they cant do shit, every char (except necro) can rush them as hard as they want with barely any punish back if fails. And when u dont have to worry about getting exploit ed catching that sorc becomes easy.

Bug tal on blizz allows that 1 more facet, as well as my build having 45% dr and the 40@ makes the build survive most rather decent. Chargers/bowas/barbs cant touch it, and i do good vs assas/ghost/fb as well. The one char that is harder is ofc ele druid on such a build i use. There an eni and frw based boots are way better ofc. And yes, i know its a -10frw base. So 15 frw added from btal.

btals is the best es sorc armor in game, period.

i use my 3cold/3blizz/3cm/1thunderstorm/2os 2x faceted mainly for svs against gm stacked fire sorcs.

i find with the 2 facets on orb and 2 facets in my circlet it lowers there res a good ammount to warrant over fathom.

doesn't get much better other than the weapon that 98% of cold sorcs use? yeah this is a real trophy!

you don't know what you're talking about. a good es blizz will have multiple armors for multiple matchups. overall btals is number one. 17dr + 1 open socket > 30frw.

only time i use eod is versus trappers for the wsg frw plus the light res since my cham/ber frw circlet has life/mana and not allres.

or maybe you're talking about the 95 mf boost for your terrible character.

and yes its a magic item but they are relatively rare and very expensive when they come up so it's a trophy in my eyes.

yes, its low frw^^

But for my use it works perfect for public duels.
It was built a long time ago as a soso rush team. (in those times 99% of tvt setups was bowa, hammer, nec, barb)
Max block, 45% dr, 75@, high repl etc.

frw is more important on a fire sorc than a cold for multiple reasons..
would pick eni for an esfb any day, not necessarily for a cold sorc though.
