i have a motherboard that accepts 4th gen intel cpus but i was wondering if i put a 10th gen cpu will it work? i assume it wont, both have to be 10th gen correct?

i did not find anything searching the internwebs so i made a post

You would have to upgrade the motherboard.

In addition to this you also need new ram.

Oh yeah, ddr4 instead of ddr3/2.
