Ok so I bought a 5800x, new MOBO, new RAM, new PSU. I build it in my case like I normally would, hook it all up. Turns on, not issues, all the aio fans and case fans and lights work without issues, plug it into the monitor and nothing is there.

Try 1000 things, nothing works.

Completely took apart the entire pc/case, built it outside of the case. Same thing, everything works just no signal from graphics card. I tried 2 different cards.

OK, bios needs to be updated. I take everything off of the motherboard except for the MBpower and CPUpower pin connectors. I download the newest bios on a flash drive, get it prepped as it should. I plug it into the mobo, turn on the power and push the q-flash and nothing happens.

any suggestions would be great at this point, starting to think maybe the mobo is bad? I mean everything works when connected to it so maybe not?

EDIT: the mobo LEDs flash for a split second then go off.

There should be lights n beeps
N shit

Could also use old ram
N psu n see what happens

I followed exactly what people said to do on Reddit and YouTube etc for the quick flash

No lights no beeps. Like I said mobo leds flash for a split second and go off

This is exactly what I’m doing. Except the quick flash led never comes in and the usb light never comes on.

What connection did you use from your monitor to the GPU?

Dp?
Hdmi?
Dvi?

Make sure the cable is ok

Although Probably won't matter now cuz u flashed bios

you don't have to unplug everything, you can do it to a fully built computer.
usb has to be fat32, rename the bios file like it needs if you didnt do that

I tried hdmi. The cord and monitor are fine I tried it on my other pc and it was working.

I didn’t flash the bios, because it wasn’t working no matter how many times I tried. So I’m still stuck.




Fat 32, bios renamed. It still wasn’t flashing.
