Aw shit, I completely forgot about Parasite, that was a great film and easily the best new(ish) film I've watched.

I haven't seen any of these, I'll try to get through one or two this week, thanks dude.



Because I enjoy Nolan's work. It wasn't his best film, but it was entertaining throughout, acting, cinematography and choreography were all top notch, which I expect from all his work. His score can be a bit much, just like Inception, he overdid how long/loud he uses pulsing tones/base, which can pull you out of the scene. At other times though, my slightly elevated heartbeat was in total sync with the music, which was an incredible feeling in the theater with the loud system and that added a lot to the scene for me.

What did you hate about it, or dislike about it enough to not even consider it average? He's playing with some strange concepts and it did feel purposefully obtuse for about half the film, but then everything should have clicked well before it was explained. Outside like one or two small incidents (theater scene being the big one for me), it all made sense or came full circle.

well for your opinion if it was above average then its not my place to say. But if its collective review above average i disagree. Then again 2020 the average bar has been set pretty low so i guess it might be slighty above average.

While it is of course my opinion, I feel I've provided decent justifications for why I critiqued it as such. I'd just like to hear counter points from you, on why you believe it was average or below. That is of course only if you're willing to discuss it, which it's fine if you're not.

I don't generally put a ton of stock into critic reviews, but it seems the general consensus across all platforms with critics and with fans was of an above average, but not great film.

average is 70 or 7 like i said it might be slightly above average due to the bar being set low but overall it doesn't really stand out
