Thinking about starting up always loved elder scrolls.
How's eso online? How's the game play? Anything I should know?
I see crafting and houses, are these useful skills for profit or just personal use? How the pvm? Raids? Good end game?

Probably buy on pc

Would definitely get it for pc if you have the option. Bunch of quality of life/advantages you can get compared to console.
You'll probably want the eso plus subscription for the craft bag or you'll be playing the game without inventory space.
Houses are just places you can own, decorate, hang out in or whatever. They're a money/time sink if anything.
Crafting is mostly just personal use as everyone and their uncle has mastered this already. You can easily find someone to craft whatever you need if you have the materials needed for it, or even just for free.
Find some guilds to join as you will be able to find help and groups much easier.
It's free to play if you have the xbox gamepass. Worth trying out at the very least imo.

I think it's garbage. I don't really like pvp in most games though so kind of a biased opinion.
A lot of people play a character that goes invisible and will 1 shot you so... ehh

Agreed. I wouldn't let that sway you from trying the game out though. I still had fun in pvp while playing with friends.

For pve I was looking up mages, is this still viable? Good for a beginner or no?
