ok, i see. they changed them into smaller level difference brackets. it was 10-19/20-29/etc. up until the end of wotlk or beginning of cata.

you can still twink but when you que for pvp an have xp turned off you get put into your own que wtith other people that have done the same and its not common at all anymore. Twinking these days was more back at start of bfa you could make a lvl 110 or 111 and use the legion legendarys + the azerite gear and just destroy content but since sl pre patch came out they destroyed it.

yeah.. thats what i just noticed.. i cant get a game on my 49 with xp turned off. its like 14min++ wait time and never gets one..

You can still twink. The gear from burning crusade can up to epics which out does heirloom gear at same level

Edit: the gear also comes with gem sockets. You could easily have 10+ primary stats over heirloom.

You make a new license specifically for the twink, free to play.
Level it to 20, lock your XP. Buy 1 month of game time. Trade over bags, enchants, etc, etc, etc, be mindful of the gold cap for f2p accounts.
Unlock your xp before your 1 month expires
You can never level up past 20
Twink forever, fast queues in the proper un xp locked bracket.
