I dusted the desk and my computer after moving the monitor, not the shelf above, the figures on the desk were literally unboxed minutes prior to the picture, same for Rem, dusted Chitoge's base, but the figure itself didn't look like it needed to be dusted
I honestly only dust once every few months

This arrived in the middle of a storm, the box was soaking wet. Thank god Popup Parade figure boxes are plastic and not cardboard.


Also have this ordered. Saw one preowened listed for 36k jpy, and a new one listed for 25k jpy.
It's an eStream figure, and 1/4 scale... so... odds are the value will go up, which is also evident by the preowned list price.
She's also best girl from SAO, of the 1/4 scale eStream figures, this is prob the only one I plan to get.

An old friend of mine used to collect Gundam Wing figures similar to your caliber, and he was able to sell his entire collection to another collector at double of what he had paid for 6 years later. Unsure if this was asked already, but do the value of the figures you collect appreciate over time?

Some figures increase in value, most don't, and everything loses value the moment you cut the original seal and open the box.
While a figure may lose value out of box compared to the same figure with its original seal intact, it may still resale for more than it originally released for brand new.

I would happily sell my entire collection at 2x value personally.
It would open up some new possibilities for me, and I can always start collecting again.
Some of my figures are extremely rare, less than 100 people actually own them.
Most of them are game prize figures, which aren't too expensive.
The bulk of the value is in my 1/4 figures.
Since I purchase mostly preowned figures, it isn't a collection that increases or even decreases in value in general.
I'm more aware of the figures that I own that have increased 2-4x their value, I'm not aware of any of my figures that lost significant value.
I don't consider any of the bootleg figures I purchased to have any value when it comes to something like selling my collection, I would consider them a complete loss and just keep them.

i could never buy a figure on struts/rods/supports, it just looks wrong to me
and i say that with a heavy heart because the most beautiful figure that exists is one on struts
