New shield, but far from good

Still no item upgrades to show, i'm getting only caster epics and rares and the Cerberus drop is no different

Mistake after mistake... i completely forgot the poison resist boots on me, instead of using the elemental boots. Finished the act with below average lightning resistance because of it. My gear really starts to show its weaknesses. I've been farming a lot less with this character and i should fix this in act 5, or this will end soon. I've been hoping to get one of the MI spears of act 4 and it happened in this video. Unfortunately the Khthonion Spike turned out to be a disappointment.

With my equipment the palace feels horrible to run. I'll probably farm the early act 5 bosses instead. I'm 4 levels below the expected level 40 for starting act 5, which is a sign of how much i'm rushing this. At least at the end i get some love from Hades' Treasury. Finally, an epic weapon that is an actual upgrade that i'm going to use... but for how long? The Tritons in Corinth can drop an MI trident that might be another upgrade... i'll find out soon enough.

I also had an encounter with a Dactyl and took the risk to run past him... normally i will exit the game, but i was in the middle of the recording, so i said screw it! If he had gotten me with his wave attack, he would have stunned me and kill me immediately with his second wave.

The big positive here is that i've got the +1 skill completion bonus on the Crystal of Erebus again and i'm starting to think that i have a way to manipulate that bonus. For the second time i wait until i collect all 5 shards and then craft them from the auto-sort button in the inventory. The same method didn't work on Epic difficulty though, so i need to do more tests to be sure. I wish i can get that completion bonus in legendary, because there it will be +2 to all skills

That'll be the first serious farm spot in act 5. Let's see if these Tritons can provide good spear drops. The boss doesn't have the greatest drop rate for unique items, but i'll try my luck on him with a few runs. I'm expecting to get better loot for the second major boss in the act - the bandit lord, Sciron.

This is more suitable for a bow build. The +1 skill is nice but i can't afford to lose piercing resistance



So i've got the Triton's MI weapon...



...but it's disappointing. The Thunder Strike skill is cool, but it's elemental. I'll stick with my epic spear. Later in the act the good old Einherjars can drop an MI spear of their own and i'll try to get it with good stats

I don't like that fight, especially without maxed pierce resistance. He nearly killed me due to my reckless approach. I'm going to stay here and farm this guy for a while...

Sciron's farm was unsuccessful, moving on to some trident farming before heading to the north

A slight improvement on the armor rating, but nothing else.



Not a dps upgrade, but it's faster with Essense of Achiles. I tried it and it feels slightly better, despite the dps drop



That's an amazing shield. Its only flaw is the lack of pierce resist, but the other stats are godly. Have to wait 5 levels to use it.
