phoenix reduce your damage, reduce your attack speed, reduce your resists, reduce your life, reduce your fhr compared to spirit. If you need mana just use silkweave boots and you will lose less. If you really want redemption use phoenix on switch but the redemption pulse is slow so you still slow down your character

Block isn't importan in pvm?

I mean there is a pvm guide in d2jsp and gives a lot of importance to block on shield, moser or storm .

Just want to know if any other choice is better than those shields.

block's useless. The only other option you have is a 4os magical shield with facets or 15/15 in it

the more you noob, the more you need a block on the rdd character

you should melt everything. block is not needed.

preference does play key like others said but i prefer phoenix because the aura really does help in sticky situations. in pvm 90% of the time, if you know what you are doing, pure vita is best way to go. sometimes 50/50 is ok too, I like that on some builds. My 2 cents cheers!
