3. Haven't seen many "awesome drops". But the larger number of noob-usable drops is mostly attributable to more players plus most people solo exploring, rather than group whistles. I suspect that if there were the sheer number of people soloing at the dedicated rate on live that there was the first couple days of beta, that far more would have dropped, due to faster/more kills.
Edit 2: So, after spending a while testing and attempting to duplicate the arrows/whistle icon setting not sticking, could not duplicate. Tried everything I could to make it unstick (short of changing the setting) and seems all's good. Sorry paul, dunno when you fixed it, but hadn't seen a post, and didn't play much after second day. My bad there, and thanks for the fix.
