Recently started playing WoW again.
Im currently playing a Hunter.
What Proffesions should i consider or are good for hunter and why

Are you playing classic or retail?


If you are playing classic, for starters I would go with skinning and mining to make some gold, and once you're 60 and can grind gold without professions switch skinning to engineering

If you play retail I can't help you

If you're just looking to make some money to get goin, mining/herb are good bets.

Gold isn't really what i'm after .

Engineering is really fun even in retail gives you a lot of cool toys and gadgets with various uses, and mining or herb is fun to fly around and collect. I suggest gather mate 2 for gathering professions and you can look up online routes for zones but with shadowlands coming just pick up 2 good gatherings at the start and get ahead of people and then you can move on to others like engineering or leather working / skinning

If you're not afte gold then it depends on your class. Which class are you playing?

I played warrior and mining was fun combined with Blacksmithing :)

enchanting and jewel crafting are always nice because you dont have to spend much gold when its leveled up but it is expensive to level up at the start of an expansion
