My method:


Each cup of rice gets 2 cups of water.

Therefore:

I put 4 cups of water into the pot.
I add half a teaspoon of salt.
I add 3 teaspoons of corn oil.
Then I put the heat up to max, and wait for the water to boil.
Then I add the two cups of rice.
I cover the pot with its lid, then set the heat to medium low.
I leave it like that for about 20 min or when all that vapor is gone.

i use a rice cooker . you can also add butter , and add some chicken stock for flavor.
