No, just willing to call a spade a spade. If Jonah Goldberg's article gets equated with right-wing hackery the likes of Ben Shapiro, the only "right-wing" viewpoints you are open to are the Jen Rubins of the world who never express right-wing views and simply criticize Trump and his cult's excesses.
We could go line by line addressing your critiques of Jonah's article, but that's not really the point, is it? Any opinion writer of a certain ideological persuasion can make some exaggerations(as the article explains) or omissions. You're just so used to the built-in progressive narratives that a writer who goes against that is lumped into the broad right-wing nutter crowd.
the irony of you making such an incredibly simplistic and sweeping assumption, based on a comparison you didn't like, is apparently lost on you.
i don't have to take some kind of centrist purity test to prove what i know to be true. i said he makes a few good points, and also some terrible ones, the latter of which reminded me of shapiro's hackery. if anything, reacting like you did to that, just demonstrates that you're the one who can't stand a nuanced reaction going against their built-in narratives, lol.
