If Jonah Goldberg's article gets equated with right-wing hackery the likes of Ben Shapiro, the only "right-wing" viewpoints you are open to are the Jen Rubins of the world who never express right-wing views and simply criticize Trump and his cult's excesses.

We could go line by line addressing your critiques of Jonah's article, but that's not really the point, is it? Any opinion writer of a certain ideological persuasion can make some exaggerations(as the article explains) or omissions. You're just so used to the built-in progressive narratives that a writer who goes against that is lumped into the broad right-wing nutter crowd.
