As the topic states, I am a brand new D3 player - I bought the game way back when it was released and was so unhappy with it i never continued playing it. Currently on a break from PoE and decided to give this a go and I am a bit overwhelmed as to what to do and what gear is good?

Currently rolled a Wizard - paragon 60ish just finished my season journey, and got my Firebird's set. GR20 in 11:30.

I am unsure what to do now, is there a guide somewhere for new players to follow and progress, or build guides like there are for PoE created by the community?

Any tips, pointers, or links to helpful material would be greatly appreciated

Essentially the game is about class sets and you just need the highest class set for your class and boom that's meta. Look up rhykker season 21 on YouTube and he'll explain all the best sets.

id recommend at this stage uninstalling the game and hugging your loved ones instead

LoD build often rocks the leaderboard and are literally based on not having any set bonus active.
You seems to don't have any clue on game, the fact you base your statement on the most retard youtuber alive kinda proof it

LOD isn't even the top this season and guess what it's a ring SET. lmao also blizzard literally named an elite in the game after rhykker, so he might know a bit of what he is talking about?

Lod is a legendary gem so can't literally say what you're blabbling about.
That guy is somewhat famous but extremely unskilled. Now he's also outdated, decent YouTuber are totally different
