trailer makes it seem like run of the mill shoot 'em up stuff

Thought I kinda like the angle of "no one knows what their power is til they take it". Could be a good vehicle for creative storytelling.

Then you realize its Jamie Foxx and the directors of Paranormal Activity........ so nah, just a shoot em up cgi explosion fest.

That sucks. Usually he does pretty well.

Was better than I thought it would be, but I had incredibly low expectations. 5.5-6/10, it's watchable and had a few enjoyable moments, but overall underwhelming

Saw it last night... pretty meeh.

This has to be the most cringy movie I've seen in a decade.... It's unbearable.
