I have tried searching online but couldn't find anything conclusive.

Is there a way we can paste a text which we have copied using Ctrl+C in the D2 in-game chat window?

Regular Ctrl+V doesn't work. (even the less-known Shift+Insert doesn't work)

Tried a few things mentioned online, but no go.

I believe since you guys have been in touch with this game long time, you have figured out a way to do this by now.

Any info is appreciated.

If any 3rd party tool is used to accomplish this. Please let me know about the same as well.

No way to do it legitimately and any 3rd party talk is not allowed in jsp as far as I know.

i dont know how i got here but i can answer your question. i actually use ctrl+v

double click the name in the create game/search game bar to highlight it and hit ctrl +c to copy then ctrl+v to paste.

no 3rd party anything here.

thank you for your response, yes Ctrl+V works there, i was talking about the in-game chat. The one we get once we are in game and press ENTER to bring it up. Have you tried it there?

oh, no i donk that works with in game chat. the only way i have been able to talk to people is if they are in my friends list i can " /f m" them. or use a " ! " before you start typing in game, this will display the message above your characters head.
